My son has been at Rye Garden Day nursery for nearly 3 years and I feel very lucky to have found the nursery.
The staff seem to genuinely enjoy their job and care for the children.
The standard of learning is also high and my son surprised me by recognising the full alphabet before he turned 3 - which I believe is due to the high level of teaching at the nursery - learning which is made fun.
The nursery have also be incredibly supportive and flexible over the past difficult year we have all had.'. '
Teo started attending the nursery from eight months until he was three and a half years old.
We particularly liked that it is a small nursery, in which the children get plenty of attention, the green outdoor space the nursery provides and the time the children get to play freely outside.
Teo learnt greatly through play and the curriculum adapted for every stage.
Crafts and story telling was a strong method for the children to express themselves and learn in creative ways.
Teo still has fond memories of his time at Rye Garden, we often look through the wonderfully crafted books with photos and notes regarding his development.
My 2 children attended Rye Garden day nursery from the age of 8months until starting school.
I particularly liked that it is a small nursery with a low turnover of staff, so my kids & I knew all the staff well.
The teaching skills at the nursery were great, so although the kids didnt think they were in lessons both my kids had no problems progressing to reading once they started school.
