Rock Cottage Day Nursery is a purpose-built institution offering high levels of nursery-level childcare for children ages 3 months to 5 years, where emotional, intellectual, and physical development work hand in hand. It is situated on more than four acres of picturesque countryside.
Since June 1991, our doors have been open.
Since then, we have adhered to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and have been registered with Staffordshire Ofsted.
We use education, creativity, and imagination as our three main tools for child development. We believe that a well-rounded development is essential for independence, potential, and—most importantly—happiness. As we get ready to send our kids to school, we work to instil these three qualities in all of our kids.
There are five phases in the nursery, each of which introduces a different area of attention and a sense of independence.
As our babies, who range in age from three to eighteen months, adjust to being away from their parents and their home, the first stage is called Baby Blossoms.
Our Little Acorns, who range in age from 18 months to 2 years, are assisted as they start to comprehend the environment they live in.
Conkers, who is 2 to 3 years old, values name recognition and potty training.
Preschool is divided into Little and Big Oaks; both Oaks help our 3 and 4 year olds be ready for school by gradually introducing educational ideas while also providing time for pleasant play.
Free play is encouraged to make sure that both indoor and outdoor playtime is enjoyed on a regular basis.
There is a large play space in each room, as well as a comfortable spot for reading or quiet time.
Each age group has a separate outdoor play area with a selection of toys and playthings that are appropriate for their age.
Every day, a nutritious lunch is prepared by our on-site chef for all of the kids.
The welfare of our kids comes first.
