Communication: Staff effectively communicate with parents. Information about children is gathered when they first start, identifying their likes and dislikes. Staff use daily discussions and send useful information via email to keep parents informed of their children's time at the club.

Community Building: The club staff have an excellent relationship with the host school and the teachers who work there. They communicate effectively with teachers, exchanging information to understand the needs of children. In addition, the staff have meetings with the school's family liaison support worker, so they can continue to offer additional support to those who need it.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: The manager and staff are aware to support children's well-being and personal development. For example, they know the importance of encouraging children to complete tasks for themselves.

Safeguarding Training: All staff undertake regular safeguarding training. They show a good understanding of how to recognise signs that a child may be at risk of harm. They are confident in recording and reporting any concerns they may have about a child's welfare.

Child Safety Management: The safety and welfare of children are well managed. All staff undertake regular safeguarding training.

Teaching Personal Safety: The provider knows the significance of teaching children how to keep themselves safe. For example, staff know to include discussions about online safety during daily conversations and activities.

Nutritional Menu: The manager understands how to deliver messages about leading a healthy lifestyle to children. She understands the importance of promoting conversations around nutritious foods and includes children's views when planning the weekly menus.
