From the Rackerhayes Pre School
In 1985, Rackerhayes Pre-school was founded. Since 1997, it has been housed in the Rugby Club; however, in January 2014, we relocated to the Chudleigh Road Hall. The pre-school serves Newton Abbot, Kingsteignton, and the rural districts nearby. All three of Kingsteignton's primary schools and we have strong relationships. From the age of two until they are ready for school, the pre-school admits children. We accept kids with special needs, and we work well with the Teign Valley Children's Center, both primary schools in Kingsteignton, and our Early Years Consultants. The lodging has a sizable hall, restrooms, a kitchen, and fully enclosed, secure outdoor garden places for the kids to play. supplying a mud kitchen for the kids to use and discover Nine employees, the bulk of whom have the necessary early years credentials, care for the kids in a variety of full and part-time roles. Additionally, the pre-school maintains an adult-to-child ratio that is higher than what is required by national standards. Our goal is to care for and offer children from two to school age a pleasant education in a secure and engaging environment that fosters a welcoming community. Our learning environment is play-based and covers the seven areas of development through appropriate toys and resources, catering to the children's individual needs and interests. We follow the new Early Years Foundation Stage document, which sets the standards for learning, development, and care for children from birth to five.
