Activities: Activities led by staff, such as arts and crafts, support children's imaginative and creative skills

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Staff help young children to name the letters, recognise and spell out their own names

Communication: Staff ensure that they share information with parents about what the children have been doing during the day

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Staff provide a safe and secure environment for children, welcoming them warmly

Safeguarding Training: Staff are trained in safeguarding and understand how to help protect children

Play and Learning Integration: Children enjoy making decorations using ribbons and small wooden discs with letters on them

Transition to Primary School: Staff have established effective links with the school that children attend for consistency in care

Child Safety Management: Staff skilfully help children to keep themselves safe, such as reminding them to handle scissors carefully

Teaching Personal Safety: Children are reminded to drink plenty of water to keep themselves hydrated

Happiness and Settling: Children look happy and settled; they participate in activities and make independent choices
