From the Purple Jay Nursery Lambeth
Purple Jay Nurseries are a family-run nursery chain, with real family values.
Right now, our group consists of five nurseries (Peckham Rye, Lambeth, East Dulwich, Herne Hill and Lewisham).
Our approach involves providing the best quality environment possible for children to explore, discover and create allowing them to follow their own curiosity, intuition and interests with support from our trained staff.
Purple Jay believes in holistic child development, borrowing the best from a number of popular childcare approaches and placing a consistent focus on emotional and physical wellbeing.
We provide a safe space with high emotional intelligence for children to explore, discover and create.
Below is the Purple Jay approach to children, parents and staff.
Taking the best of all major childcare approaches to develop their emotional and physical well-being with a special emphasis on emotional intelligence, all within the EYFS framework, and all within a natural environment.
We strive to provide parents with all the information and support they need to feel comfortable and satisfied.
Were routinely communicating closely with our people, finding out what were doing well, and where to improve, and then taking action which leads to continuous improvements in performance, morale and satisfaction.
What makes our approach so special is that it is data-based and research-based.
We have a continuous improvement approach in that we are constantly asking questions to find what we are doing well/where we can improve, devising strategies and plans of action based on this feedback, taking action, and then asking again.
This approach ensures our approach, and thus the quality of every element of our service for our children, parents and people continues to get better and better.
