From the Priorslee Pre-School
Our pre-school staff is a compassionate, close-knit group with years of combined expertise dealing with young children.
Each child at Pre-School is given a Key Person who takes a special interest in them, helps them settle in and make friends, evaluates their progress and meets with their parents to discuss it. The Key Person also makes sure that the activities offered are catered to the child's specific needs through weekly adult-led planning.
Priorslee Pre-School is open at the following hours during the academic year: Sunday to Friday: Morning session from 8:55 until 11:55.
At the preschool, lunchtime is a significant time because everyone gets to eat their meal together at the table.
Children are better prepared for the transition to school when they have lunch in Pre-School.
For an extra $2.00 each day, Lunch Club can be added to a morning or an afternoon session.
All kids have a right to 15 financed hours starting at the beginning of the school year following their third birthday.
Extra sessions are charged at $11.00 each, and your kid is welcome to attend the Pre-School for more than 15 hours a week.
For two-year-old children whose parents qualify and can get Talking Twos money, we also provide financing.
The cost of the children's materials and snacks is an extra $5 every month.
Staff members at the pre-school are aware that there may occasionally be a genuine one-time emergency if parents or caregivers are unable to pick their children up from pre-school by the scheduled hour.
In order to avoid issues with staffing and adult-to-child ratios, children who are consistently picked up from pre-school after the scheduled time will be assessed a late collection fee of one dollar for every five minutes of late pickup.
Most families will be eligible for 30 hours of free daycare starting in September 2017.
Pre-School needs this code the term before you need the funds to begin; for example, we need the code in February to start receiving funding in April.
