In Nottinghamshire, there is a childcare facility run by the Early Years Alliance.
Our committed, friendly and well-qualified nursery team provides high quality care and learning opportunities for children aged between 0-11 years.
We adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), placing a strong emphasis on learning through play. We also actively encourage parents to participate in nursery activities.

We will be visited by Ofsted in January, and we are happy to report that we received a Good rating.
Thanks to everyone who participated in and helped with our "Welly Walk" in October, we were able to earn a whopping 600, which will help us purchase some nice new toys for the nursery.
Our Pre-school Children have been learning about community members who assist us. Take a look at the lovely role-playing area where the kids love pretending to be nurses and physicians and taking care of one another.
We also went to the school when the fire truck came, and the kids got to sit in it and check out the fire apparatus.
This term, we have been quite active in the garden, planting, cultivating, and digging a lot.

Here at New Woods Childcare, we're going on a bear hunt; have a peek at the fun we've had so far.
To celebrate World Book Day 2018 we have decided to have a full week of We're Going on a Bear Hunt activites so don't forget on the 1st March to bring in your own bear and dress in your pyjama's and we will have more adventures on our Bear Hunts..
