Forest School Sessions: Staff are embarking on courses for forest school to help children explore the wonder of the outdoors.

Activities: Children engage in varied activities such as using typewriters, paints, and brushes outdoors, and investigating ice.

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Children develop skills like making up stories, reciting passages from their favorite stories, and using letters to form new patterns and shapes.

Communication: Partnerships with parents are strong and highly effective; parents are fully included in all aspects of their children's development.

Programs and Resources: Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported well with a joined-up approach towards their future learning.

Staff Training: Staff are embarking on courses for sign language to help children build higher levels of communication and language.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: The staff team is supported through a good use of regular supervision meetings and take responsibility for reflecting on their practice.

Safeguarding Training: Staff receive consistent training and updates on wider and changing safeguarding issues.

Play and Learning Integration: Children investigate with ice and figure out how to help it melt, showing natural inquisitiveness in their play.

Transition to Primary School: Children quickly master the routines of the pre-school and independently make their own choices in their play and learning, which prepares them well for transition to primary school.

Diversity Management: Children who speak English as an additional language quickly grasp new words with gentle encouragement from staff.

Child Safety Management: The areas of the pre-school are risk assessed and gates are locked at all times to provide children the freedom to explore safely.

Children's Safety and Security: Children are safe and secure within the pre-school environment.

Teaching Personal Safety: This helps children to build an early awareness in learning to protect themselves.

Happiness and Settling: Children behave well, are accepting of behavior expectations, and share photographs to promote how unique each child is.
