From the Peaslake Nursery
Greetings from Peaslake Free School.
Our school, which is snuggled away in the Surrey Hills, is a classic example of an English country school.
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to teach in this picturesque forest setting, which enables us to offer a broad curriculum that blends indoor and outdoor learning activities to ensure that children get the most out of their time with us.
Peaslake School is an independent nursery and infant school that is free to attend. It gives kids from 2 1/2 to 7 years old the chance to learn in a small village setting that evokes memories of a bygone era while utilising the most up-to-date teaching techniques to bring out the best in all of our kids.
Here in the centre of the Surrey Hills, we feel that we provide a distinctive educational experience.
Our traditional village school building, which has plenty of outdoor space and is beautifully tucked away in the Hurtwood Forest, gives kids a varied mix of indoor and outdoor learning opportunities as well as access to a wide range of cross-curricular activities to support their mental and physical development.
Our after-school groups, which range from tennis to the Forest Club to even woodworking, give kids more ways to deepen their learning and benefit from their time at school.
Peaslake parents participate in fundraising efforts and provide assistance for the school's daily operations in exchange for the wealth and variety of benefits the school offers for individualised learning.

Our school is noteworthy for being both child- and community-centered, offering early childhood education right in the heart of the neighbourhood where kids reside.
For the school's and the larger community's cohesiveness, the relationships formed between parents from the same community are equally crucial.
The ethos of the institution is unmistakably Christian.
For a large portion of its existence, it has been a Church of England school, and over the past 20 years, it has developed strong ties with the neighbourhood church.
In our school, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum to students in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2.
