Park Out of School Club

Activities: Staff plan interesting and exciting activities for children, such as learning how to live a healthy lifestyle and raising money for charity.

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Children enjoy trips to the local market, the library, the farm and woodland walks in the grounds of the local stately home.

Communication: Partnerships with parents are strong. This helps to ensure that children settle quickly and feel secure.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Staff, who also work in the attached school, form good relationships with children.

Safeguarding Training: Staff have attended a good range of safeguarding training. They know the signs and symptoms to be aware of and who to report to.

Play and Learning Integration: Staff speak to children with understanding and respect at all times. This helps children feel their views are being listened to.

Transition to Primary School: Staff help children stay healthy and gain independence skills.

Diversity Management: Staff welcome and support children who speak English as an additional language.

Child Safety Management: Safety is a priority in the club. All trips, both locally and further afield, are fully risk assessed. Safeguarding is effective.

Children's Safety and Security: Children feel safe and provide a stimulating environment for them.

Happiness and Settling: Children learn about others who are the same as and different to themselves.

Nutritional Menu: Children enjoy eating a range of fresh fruit and sampling foods from around the world.
