From the Park Day Nursery
In June 2013, my husband Simon and I acquired ownership of Park Day Nursery. Since 1989, Park Day has served as both a nursery and a family home. The nursery has experienced consistent success and acclaim both within the East Reading community and outside of it over this time. At our most recent inspection in July 2017, the employees at Park Day Nursery's excellent level of commitment and professionalism were acknowledged with an Outstanding rating from Ofsted in every category. Archie, 15, and Oscar, 12, are our two sons, and we reside in Winkfield. Living close by has allowed us to fully utilise this wonderful Victorian building's spaces, giving the kids in our care plenty of room to use their imaginations and life experiences to steer their educational journeys. We feel we have a good knowledge of the needs of parents juggling a family and a work-life balance because we have personal experience as working parents, both full and part time. Every day I go to work at the nursery, making sure I am deeply involved in every area of the daily operations while also letting my Nursery Manager implement best practises as outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage criteria.
