According to research, early experiences have a significant impact on children's later achievement.
In order to support 3- and 4-year-old children who have been identified as coming from economically disadvantaged households and those who are in care or have been in care, the government provides financial assistance to Early Years providers (Early Years Pupil Premium, or EYPP).
Previously, we combined the EYPP funding from all of our settings and used it to pay for the training of all of our staff in a music programme from the specialised early years music supplier Boogie Mites.
