Pagoda Nursery

For 26 years, the Liverpool City Council oversaw the Pagoda Nursery, which was located at the Pagoda Chinese Youth Community Centre not far from Chinatown.
In July 2008, the Pagoda Nursery was shut down.
The government was implementing National Surestart programmes at the time, and the management of Liverpool City Council chose to reverse course and shut down every day nursery they oversaw in Liverpool.
The Pagoda Nursery was ultimately reopened in April 2012, and OFSTED has granted it permission to carry on with its business.
Although we place a strong focus on our services' multi-cultural and bilingual aspects, any parent who lives in the area or works in the city centre can use this modest community nursery.
The community chose Pagoda Nursery as a childcare facility to accommodate needs for multiple languages.
Along with language, the nursery also needs to comprehend and take into account the cultural demands of the neighbourhood.
As you can tell by our employees and the events we offer, we strongly promote multicultural activities.
The nursery is distinctive and offers a cosy environment for a total of 19 kids between the ages of 0 and 5.
