Orton Wistow Under Fives, a non-profit community-based facility established in 1988, is voluntarily run by a Committee of parent volunteers who are chosen each year at the AGM to assist the staff they employ.
Playgroup is not just about learning; it's also about having a good time and developing into your own special person.
Along with our yearly summer trips, we take the kids for walks throughout the year.
We provide a range of sessions starting at age two years and six months.
Over the years, we have forged strong ties with Orton Wistow Primary School, and when it comes time for the kids to transfer, we work closely with the teachers of the Reception Class.
All parents participate in the growth of their children at the playgroup.
We adhere to the high standards demanded by our parents by giving the kids challenging play experiences. We are affiliated with the Pre-School Learning Alliance and Peterborough City Council Early Years and Childcare Team, and we have undergone inspections by Ofsted (most recently in January 2018).
