We hope you'll find us warm and welcoming, vibrant and enthusiastic, a place where kids are valued as individuals and can thus realise their potential.
We have pleasant, open connections with our parents and appreciate any information you may have to share about your child's educational journey.
We promise to give you a fulfilling experience filled with delight, amusement, education, and success.
We will work to ensure that every child makes a respectable amount of progress in their learning and development.
Children, parents, caregivers, staff, and committee members at Frome Opportunity Nursery are meant to work together as a team.
We want to provide parents and staff the chance to talk on what they've seen and how they see the kids.
Children will receive support as they go through transitions like starting school.
During the academic year, the nursery is open from Monday through Friday from 9.00am to 3.15pm.
Early Years Entitlement, or EYE, is the name used to describe the right of every child to up to 15 free hours per week beginning with the term that follows their third birthday.
Some two-year-olds are eligible for two years of funding beginning in the term following their second birthday. There are requirements, and families must apply by filling out a paper form that we can supply or that is available at Getset centres, or by applying online at http://www.somerset.gov.uk/childrens-services/childcare/funding-for-2-year-olds/. Children who go over their allotted free time or who don't qualify for two years of support must pay fines.
For 2 year olds, we now charge $5.00 per hour, and for 3 and 4 year olds, we charge $4.85 per hour.
The Early Years Foundation Stage is used in the nursery to track, evaluate, and plan children's learning and development.
A group of trustees, which may include parents, former parents, family members, or friends of the nursery, manages the nursery as a charity.
