The CoEL emphasises process over product, or how children learn as opposed to what they learn.
The CoEL is based on the concept that children develop attitudes toward learning in their early years that will last a lifetime.
Children who get the correct kind of help and encouragement during this time will grow up to be imaginative and daring learners.
Children who do not have this kind of contact and assistance are probably going to approach learning very differently when they become older.
Since children are unique individuals who bring their own needs, abilities, and histories to the learning environment, the supportive practitioner and the environment they provide must nurture these CoELs to occur.
They adapt their behaviour to various circumstances and easily adapt to routine adjustments.
Developing relationships: Kids play cooperatively and share turns with one another.
They consider each other's suggestions for how to set up their activity.
They demonstrate empathy for the needs and feelings of others and build strong bonds with both adults and other kids.
Shape, space, and measures: Children compare amounts and things, solve problems, and communicate about size, weight, capacity, position, distance, time, and money using everyday language.
They identify, make, and explain patterns.
They look at common features of shapes and objects and describe them using mathematical terms.
People and communities: Kids talk about things that have happened in their own lives and the lives of their family members in the past and now.
They are aware of the similarities and distinctions within their own families, communities, and traditions as well as those of others.
Children are aware of the similarities and differences between many locations, things, materials, and living beings in the world.
Children sing songs, produce music, dance, and experiment with methods to change them as they explore and use media and materials.
They experiment with colour, design, texture, shape, and function while safely utilising and exploring a variety of materials, tools, and techniques.
Children who are inventive apply what they have learned about media and materials in novel ways, considering uses and purposes.
