We are a nonprofit organisation that works in Birmingham's Ward End and Alum Rock neighbourhoods, which have disproportionately high levels of social, economic, and environmental deprivation. Over the past 50 years, we have evolved and improved our inclusive, responsive services with a focus on Health, Social, and Economic outcomes to help women and children in our communities. By creating programmes that address local needs, we serve as an anchor within communities that are frequently regarded as being difficult to reach. We achieve this by collaborating with a variety of partners, including neighbourhood schools, local government entities, nonprofit organisations, education services, social services, and more. For women who are disadvantaged economically and socially and who are affected by health inequities, we offer education, training, employment, and assistance for their health and wellbeing. For underprivileged children who require additional care, have disabilities, or have social and emotional behavioural issues, we offer constructive activities and mentoring support. We offer after-school care and vacation care for children of working parents. To improve the attainment of kids whose social and academic starting points are much lower than the national average, we offer OUTSTANDING pre-school education. for settings in which everybody has the chance to reach their greatest potential.
