To promote the health and safety of all children and employees, risk assessments and inspections are carried out every day. All staff are trained in paediatric first aid and food hygiene when they first join us.
We are a local community pre-school based in a large church hall offering a wide range of activities, promoting valuable fun learning experiences for all children through the early years foundation stage.
Because St. Andrews is situated on the border of a forest, we can use this fantastic teaching resource as part of every engaging learning day.
Children have a lot of room to walk around and explore in the hall, which allows them to observe all the activities put up for them and select the one they like most.
Giving young children the freedom to take charge and make their own decisions helps them feel powerful in an early years setting.
Children can explore their surroundings and the surrounding outdoors while honing their gross motor skills in the garden.
Your youngster can engage in a variety of activities in the garden. include slides, a sandbox, playhouses, musical instruments, and many more things.
Children's senses and spatial awareness are developed in the outdoors and in the forest.
We are quite fortunate to have a forest right outside our door, and we make the most of it.
Children can go on walks through the forest and engage in enjoyable activities.
