A limited company called Nimble Arts organises occasional family events and imaginative school vacation clubs for children ages 4 to 11 in South East London.
Nimble Arts was established in 2013 by Catherine Burgis and Rebecca Dixon (who has since moved on to launch a new business called Beanstalk Arts that offers story-telling and music classes for babies and toddlers). Our goal as a business is to offer distinctive, excellent, and easily accessible childcare that fosters children's imagination and creativity while keeping them secure, content, and involved.
We also think it's critical to always have a full-time, licenced medical professional whose primary responsibility it is to handle first aid and any kind of emergency medical situation on site.
Finally, we think that holiday childcare should adhere to the same strict safety and instructional standards as schools.
Due to the fact that we occasionally care for children for up to 10 hours a day, our level of planning, as well as the structure and tempo of our days, are carefully considered.
At Nimble, no two days are the same since there is always a new subject, something new to build, someone new to meet as a visiting expert, and something new to learn while getting help from friends in comfortable surroundings and engaging in lots of unstructured active play.
We are a social enterprise that offers subsidised childcare to families with complex needs, those receiving Universal Credit, and looked-after children who are unable to access universal childcare without further assistance.
We have assisted kids from the time they were 4 years old until they graduated from Year 6, and we are always excited to welcome you into our Nimble family.
