Our curriculum goes beyond a schedule of what will be taught when. Intentions & Ambitions:
We continually strive for the highest standards in national examinations, but our ultimate goal is for children to succeed in life and achieve great things because they had the greatest possible start at Newton Primary.
A positive attitude will pervade our school to make sure that our students develop into passionate, focused, and self-assured learners.
This will be evident in all of our contacts with students and by creating a welcoming learning environment for both students and instructors.
In order to make kids believe they can accomplish, feel obligated to achieve, and feel obligated to help others achieve, we will emphasise the value of resilience and teamwork.
To guarantee that our students have an appreciation for and sense of fulfilment from the world around them, we will enrich their lives.
While fully appreciating the value of direct instruction, learners will gain from a variety of teaching philosophies.
When appropriate, the curriculum will be given using a theme approach so that the students can understand the connections between the various disciplines.
In order to foster empathy and hasten academic achievement, the power of reading and a love of books will be harnessed.
The learning of children will not be confined to the classroom.
