We provide excellent morning daycare for children of all ages at our community-run playgroup in Mortlake.
Preschoolers benefit from the exciting, nurturing environment provided by our experienced, highly skilled personnel.
Play-based learning is what we emphasise. For teepees and camping, we offer a large garden with a nature area. We also have a pirate ship climbing structure for high seas adventures, as well as a mud kitchen (messy play).
We are a playgroup in Mortlake run by the community, providing excellent morning childcare for children ages 2 to 5.
Preschoolers benefit from the exciting, nurturing environment provided by our experienced, highly skilled personnel. Every day, kids have a variety of options for games and activities to pick from, including painting, drawing, water play, dressing up, sand play, and our book corner. The team also runs cooking classes, arts and crafts projects, woodworking projects, games, and science experiments. Our emphasis is on play-based learning, but staff members also use specific silent groups to assist the kids be ready for school.
Our outside specialists teachers offer the kids wonderful extracurricular activities like music and theatre.
Additionally, parents and carers are welcomed! Our parent committee invites everyone to participate in our social events. To help people get to know one another, we host coffee mornings and evening gatherings like quiz nights. We also urge parents to assist in planning our unique children's events, the Summer and Christmas Fairs.
