At the conclusion of my first full day at Nash Mills, I'm writing this.
It's been wonderful getting to know the kids and seeing the school in action.
The fact that the kids have been able to return to school so well-prepared and eager to study during the last six months is truly a testament to our families. The world has been a very strange and occasionally very difficult place.
I have a young family with a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old, so I am aware of how difficult it has been to keep things running smoothly.
I've learned to really value the calm time I have each day when I walk the dog before and after school.
Prior to working at Nash Mills, I spent some time as a local teacher.
I worked at Chambersbury before taking the position of Deputy Head at Micklem 5 years ago.
However, I have held a variety of other positions in schools prior to my five years as a deputy headteacher.
Which holiday has been your favourite?
It was wonderful.
What football team do you root for?
I adore Liverpool, so I was overjoyed when the current Premier League season came to a close.
