Much Woolton Old School Nursery

There are presently 7 employees working at Much Woolton Old School Nursery. Gained credentials range from high-level NVQs to degrees. We have Mrs. Rood, the owner/manager, along with Alice, Megan, and Rehat, as well as Amy, Rehat, and Rachel, nursery nurses, Kathy, the head cook, and Joanne, the cook/cleaner. We also regularly have volunteers, students, and supply workers who are obtaining expertise in this area. Regular mailings will inform all parents of any new faces.
Opening times are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Children are not permitted to attend before 8 am or after 5 pm for insurance reasons.
Christmas 2021 will end on Thursday, December 23, and reopen on January 5, 2022. (1 week not paid for plus 3 Bank holidays that must be paid for).
*Spring/Easter break 2022: The nursery will be closed from Monday, April 11, to Tuesday, April 19, for one week (No fees). bank holidays in two (Fees payable).
*Bank holidays to keep in mind in 2022 are Thursday, June 2, Friday, June 3, and Monday, August 29.
Additional hours cost 8.00 per hour, 15 hours, or 30 hours only, and lunch and activity fees are 5.00 if you attend the entire day (4.00 for each morning session and 3.50 for each afternoon session). We give siblings who go together a little discount. Please talk to Mrs. Rood about this.
Grant Specifications: A limited number of "Grant Only" (15 hours of free schooling) spots are available for the term following your child's third birthday. Additionally, we provide subsidised spaces for children under the age of two (conditions apply please ask). If you believe you qualify for the "30 hour funding," please check your eligibility on the government website using the eligibility checker.
Alice is the deputy manager, the head of the orange preschool group, and a skilled nursery nurse.
Amy is a skilled nursery nurse, a safeguarding officer, and a crucial employee for the Orange group (preschool).
