From the Minster Playgroup
We think that every kid has a right to participate in early education. The Minster Playgroup ensures that staff members receive ongoing training and have access to pertinent training in order to serve all children. They have a wealth of expertise and understanding in supporting children with special needs. Every child and adolescent has the right to an education that enables them to advance, attain their full potential, develop into self-assured persons who lead satisfying lives, and successfully move into adulthood, whether through employment, further or higher education, or training (SEN code of practice). We provide universal support for all children, but occasionally a young child may only require a few additions to help them learn. We might talk to you about this and how we might cooperate by identifying some goals and sharing tactics. Don't be alarmed; every child develops at a different rate. If you're unclear or concerned, start by talking about it. At Minster Playgroup, we take pride in providing an environment that is welcoming to all children. Our staff is knowledgeable and qualified to support all children. Our special education coordinators are Kirsty P and Danielle F at The Abbey Site and Denise D at Minster. All of them have SENCO training and are prepared to help you and support you in any way. You can reach us at any time by phone at 01795 871120 (Minster), 07598 986782 (The Abbey), or by email at [email protected] to talk about your troubles or just to have a conversation.
