Children's Safety and Security: Children are happy to see their key person and leave their parents and carers at the gate with ease. All children benefit from frequent cuddles and warm praise.

I'd like to extend a warm welcome to Mill Hill Nursery School.
In the Doxford Park neighbourhood of Sunderland, there is a Local Authority Nursery School called Mill Hill Nursery School.
The school now accepts students up to the age of five and offers services beginning at birth.
We are open from 7.45am until 5.30pm, fifty weeks of the year.
The team as a whole is committed to the kids, has high standards for the kids, and puts the kids first in everything we do.
The team takes the time to get to know the kids and their interests, which frequently leads to the kids and staff embarking on a learning adventure together.
We take great satisfaction in offering a curriculum that is extensive, diverse, and influenced by the interests and fascinations of the students.
The learning environment both indoors and outdoors is engaging, stimulating and open ended allowing children to be independent learners, but also allowing them to feel safe, secure and nurtured.
Our overarching aim is that all the children who come here flourish and become independent, confident, caring and responsible young learners, who leave here with a real love of learning.
Please get in touch with the school if you're interested in learning more.
