To ensure that students graduate from school ready for life in contemporary Britain, we seek to actively promote British values in schools in accordance with The Department for Education. Students are urged to treat individuals of various faiths, races, and cultures with respect and tolerance and to recognise that, notwithstanding individual beliefs about what is "good" and "wrong," everyone who resides in England is subject to English law. No Outsiders is a fun programme that we use to give our kids the chance to celebrate diversity and learn what it means to be a British citizen in the modern world. The Silver Rights Respecting School Award has been given to us. Since the beginning of our journey toward silver in October 2018, we have stayed dedicated to educating kids about their rights and encouraging them to consider what we can all do to help others access their rights as well. Each class has a "Rights Rep" who attends meetings on their behalf and assists in disseminating information about rights throughout the school. We discuss rights in our assemblies, lessons, and special occasions, which frequently provides us with an opportunity to consider kids who might not have access to their rights.
