We have been operating independently within St. Michael and All Angels Infant School since our founding in 1964. A board of directors manages Lyndhurst Pre-School, which is also overseen by Ofsted. Every child in the neighbourhood is welcome, and our admissions policy supports equitable opportunity. Children as young as 2 years and 6 months are welcome.
We are behind St. Michael & All Angels Infant School in Lyndhurst. The tight relationship we have developed with the school has benefited us all, especially the kids as they grow accustomed to much of school life before they make the transfer to Reception class, even though it remains an independently run unit.
A board of Directors oversees The Pre-School, a limited company with charitable status. Hampshire County Council is the landlord of our facilities.
We are Pre-School Learning Alliance members and have completed all three of the requirements for their Reflecting on Quality Accreditation programme. By accomplishing this, we can show parents, professionals, and the general public that the service we provide is of a consistently high calibre.
We take great pride in our preschool. Come and have a look for yourself.
