From the Long Preston Playgroup
Our playgroup is located in specially constructed facilities next to Long Preston Endowed School in Long Preston. Children as young as 2 years old are welcome to join this warm and inclusive playgroup. Currently, we have four employees who are all at least Level 3 qualified in child care: Natalie (leader, Senco, and Safeguarding lead), Katie (Deputy Manager), Jo (Health and Safety Officer), and Natasha (Behavior Coordinator). Our goal is to offer top-notch early childhood education in a wonderful environment where every kid is treated equally. We are run by a committee of parents, so our kids are always at the forefront of our ideas and thoughts. We are not a for-profit company; instead, any earnings are reinvested in our playgroup to foster the growth of our kids. Children have a seamless transition into Long Preston Endowed School and are well-prepared for school when the time comes thanks to tight ties to the school and the incorporation of some of the reception class throughout the sessions. In every area, our most recent Ofsted inspection in July 2018 gave us an Outstanding rating. View it in its entirety here.
