From the Little Steps Preschool
The bulk of the personnel are parents themselves in addition to having the formal education and experience stated. In our environment, we keep the adult-to-child ratio required by the EYFS Welfare Requirements. Wherever practical, we also use trainee practitioners and volunteer assistants to improve these ratios.
DBS-checked, and receive ongoing, required training in child safety, food hygiene, and first aid. Staff members participate in regular training to keep them abreast of best practises in addition to earning certifications in Early Years care and education.
