The owners of Little Stars Day Nursery, Waterbeach, Lisa and Adam Wakley-Davies, opened the facility in 2013 with the goal of offering nearby families high-quality, practical, at-home daycare.
Children from 3 months to 5 years old can get daily care at Little Stars Day Nursery.
In 2019, we earned accreditation from the Curiosity Approach, and since then, we've encouraged play with loose parts and natural materials, which has had a significant positive impact on our kids' learning and development.
As a nursery, we work hard to advance constantly via fruitful reflective practise, parent partnerships, and a shared commitment for giving all of our kids the best early education and experience we can.
Our staff members are aware of the significance of providing children with the resources they require to learn and grow in order to reach their full potential in a secure, engaging, and supportive environment.
Our staff can deliver engaging activities that pique our kids' interests and let them explore, learn, and grow at their own speed by using an in-the-moment approach to planning.
At Little Stars, we promote outdoor play. All of our students have access to their own private gardens during the day, and they also take part in outings to the neighbourhood park and other excursions.
Our skilled practitioners have a strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework, and use the Birth to Five Matters guidance to support them and develop themselves as individuals, with the skills to become life-long learners.
The nursery experiences of the children in our care are improved by staff who regularly attend training to advance their skills and continuously improve their practise.
We make sure that every employee has received paediatric first aid and safeguarding and child protection training.
