Little Friends Pre-School

In the beginning, the pre-school was started in 1970 by two mothers in the new town of Basildon. We began in a little room next to a neighbourhood church. Later, we relocated to the neighbouring Bryn Activity Centre, where we stayed until the local council shuttered the centre in 1992. We were able to borrow a classroom at the then-named The Willows Primary School, a nearby elementary school. We had to leave the school in 1996 due to a rise in enrollment. We were fortunate that the school governors provided us with a plot of land on the school's property on which to build a mobile unit. We were able to purchase the property we are currently located in thanks to significant support and investment from the community and local businesses as well as considerable fundraising efforts by the pre-school itself. 2009 September The preschool applied for charity status and registered as a limited company. improving the growth and instruction of kids who aren't yet legally required to attend school in a community-based, parent-involved group. to provide an engaging, secure, and safe atmosphere. to carry out one's work within a framework that guarantees all children and families equal opportunities. A high adult to kid ratio enables individual care and attention. Opportunities for you and your family to participate in the group's activities and the development of your child.
