From the Little Forest Folk Morden
Little Forest Folk was founded to provide kids, including those of our own, with the opportunity to experience awe and freedom in their daily lives.
Inspiring children to lead naturally healthy lifestyles that develop resilience, confidence, independence, and self-motivation—all the skills required for a happy and successful life—in our nurseries re-connects them with nature.
We want to provide the next generation the chance to have the lovely outdoor childhood that many of us had the good fortune to have but that children in London are tragically no longer experiencing.
We adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum's fundamental principles and incorporate learning outdoors in a secure setting where children can freely play, breathe fresh air, be exposed to the outdoors, and engage in physical activity.
Children are missing out on the wild world because it is getting so far away from them, and as a result, their interest in it doesn't develop as it should.
Our curriculum was created to address the seven learning domains identified in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Our teaching is play-based and child-led, with a yearning for greater learning motivated by wonder.
Children in Little Forest Folk wear colourful waterproofs that are age-appropriately coloured.
Participating in the kids' personal safety measures is a crucial aspect of our safety.
It encourages kids to take an active role in their own safety and guarantees that they value safety measures far more.
Your children's meals are all home-cooked, wholesome, and recipes that the entire family would love.
No fish fingers and chips for our young customers! We take great pride in our diverse and delicious food.
We give you a kit list for each season detailing the clothing items your child needs to remain warm and dry.
Each child receives their outer layer, which consists of a set of vibrantly coloured Didrikson's waterproof dungarees and a jacket, as part of the enrollment process.
We raise our hoods when it rains!
The majority of the time, all the kids want to do is play in the rain by catching water in containers, watching the rain fall, and jumping in puddles.
We urge kids to unwind and think back on their days when each day comes to an end.
We gather "treasures" from the forest to talk about and display day's photos on a projector.
Children are encouraged to unwind, think back on their day, and talk about their accomplishments and favourite parts.
similar to a camping trip.
We accommodate kids wearing diapers, who are frequently changed in our diaper-changing tent.
