At Little Feet, we think that collaborating with parents is crucial for a child's development.
In order to keep you informed about your child's learning and progress, we have created a clear communication strategy. Together, we will decide on their future steps.
When interacting with children, a crucial person owes it to them to instil in them the confidence and certainty they need to feel safe and cared for.
In order to facilitate ongoing communication on the child's learning and development, a crucial individual must also establish a relationship with the child's parents.
Your kid will be assigned a key person at Little Feet as soon as they begin working with us, and you will be informed of and introduced to this key person right away.
You can talk to the Key Person about any problems or worries you may have about your child's learning and development.
The key person is in charge of your child's educational development while at Little Feet.
You are allowed to observe your child's educational journey and to participate in whatever capacity you choose.
Every year, Little Feet will have parents days when you can meet one-on-one with your child's key caregiver and peruse your child's dossier.
For the older kids, home link sheets will be distributed for parents to fill out so they can describe what the kids did during the weekend.
These are finished multiple times throughout the terms.
You may keep up with all the important nursery happenings on the notice board in the lobby, including the weekly meal, any visits or field trips, and the nursery's current topic.
Parents get the nursery's newsletter several times a year, keeping you informed of all the most recent events.
We have a positive behaviour policy at Little Feet.
All employees are urged to obtain additional training and research to regularly refresh their professional expertise in line with current practise.
Little Feet Nursery offers a childcare apprenticeship programme that results in a level 3 NVQ in childcare and education.
Our pre-school rooms are overseen by an EYP (Early Years Practitioner) at Little Feet.
We also accept students who seek to complete a placement at Little Feet yet attend other nearby training centres and colleges.
Each employee and student in Little Feet undergoes a rigorous screening procedure as part of our hiring and selection process. This includes character references and a DBS clearance requirement.
