Since the 1960s, a preschool has operated out of the Scout headquarters on Wash Road. In September 2009, Michelle Yarwood became the sole owner of the newly renamed Little Ducks Pre-school. the ethos of Little Ducks Pre-school strives to give children a warm, safe, and engaging atmosphere where they can learn through play. In order to support children's learning and development while advancing equality and valuing diversity, we collaborate with parents. We want to encourage each kid individually and help them throughout their learning experience with us and the transfer to school. 30 kids between the ages of 2 and 5 may receive sessional care from us per our registration. A comprehensive copy of our policies and procedures are accessible for viewing in the setting, and our prospectus gives a general overview of Little Ducks. Monday through Friday, 9.15 am to 2.45 pm, exclusively during the academic year. Sessions are offered in the morning, afternoon, or all day. Details can be found on the fees page. The Early Years Foundation Stage's themes and guiding ideas serve as the foundation for all of our policies, processes, and planning (EYFS). We offer a wide range of tools and resources to let kids experiment with various pursuits and support their growth and advancement in all seven areas of learning. Weekly curriculum planning is done based on the kids' interests and our themes. To ensure that each child's needs are fulfilled, planning also takes into account comments from key individuals during staff meetings.
