Little Discoveries Preschool

We are a modest facility located in Yeovil, Somerset, run by Naomi Bartin under the ownership of SS&L. In January 2020, the preschool and nursery locations merged. Our mission is to support kids and families as they transition from the Early Years through the formal school years. Our staff is held to a high standard to provide care and education at a superior level while keeping your kid and family at the centre of all we do.
Our goal at Little Discoveries is to create a warm environment that supports each child's learning and growth. Our goal is to assist each child to develop a love and motivation for learning, preparing them for a smooth transition to school, by creating a dynamic, welcoming, and supporting atmosphere.
One of the smallest nurseries in the South Somerset region, Little Discoveries Day Nursery began operations in September 2013. We have 2 rooms: a toddler room for children ages 2-3 and a preschool room for children ages 3-5. With many parks nearby, we have lots of opportunities to take the kids out and about. The location benefits from a sizable outside area that has an allotment, a sensory garden, and a mud kitchen. We are available all year round and solely throughout the academic year.
