For more than 40 years, Little Acorns has called Hemel Hempstead's Boxmoor and Warners End Community Center home. The Pre-School offers a warm welcome with a separate entrance lobby, a brilliantly coloured playroom, kitchen, restrooms, and an outdoor play area now that we are in our own self-contained building overlooking Northridge Park.
Only during the academic year are we open Monday through Friday. Our afternoon classes take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. or 12:15 p.m. Our morning sessions run from 9.15 a.m. to 12.15 p.m. every day, with the option of lunch club until 1 p.m. On Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:15 to 2:15, we can also provide a 5-hour session.
We can accommodate up to 24 children per session, ages 2 to 5, and are registered with and subject to inspection by Ofsted. We have applied for funding from the Local Education Authority for children ages 2, 3, and 4.
