Leafield Pre-School

A professional staff and an unpaid management committee run the registered charity Leafield Pre-school, which was founded in 1973. Children are brought in from the village and adjacent rural areas. Children who graduate from the preschool attend the Wychwoods and Leafield area primary schools. Leafield Primary School is not far from the Pre-school.
The Pre-school is housed in a specially constructed annex behind the Leafield village hall. All abilities can readily access the classroom and gardens.
One of our best selling points is that we can provide levels of care and attention that are challenging to attain in larger settings because we are registered with Ofsted to care for a maximum of 16 children at any given time. We provide play-based activities with a curriculum designed to advance children's development and get them ready for school. We are licenced and covered to look after kids as young as 2. To help them become accustomed to their new surroundings, we do allow kids to visit the facility before their second birthday. During these visits, parents or other caregivers are required to stay with the kid.
Our goal is to foster play-based learning in a safe, secure, and compassionate atmosphere in order to develop learners who are joyful, self-assured, inquisitive, and creative. Supporting and appreciating our workers and the children entrusted to our care while delivering exceptional service and achieving the Early Years Foundation Stage's educational objectives (EYFS).
