Activities: Staff gather information from parents about what children already know and can do when they first start. This helps them to plan for children's learning from the very start.

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Children develop a good understanding of numbers and demonstrate good physical skills. They confidently use tongs to pick up and stack wooden blocks, demonstrating hand-to-eye coordination.

Communication: Staff gather feedback from staff, parents and children when evaluating the provision. This has supported positive changes, such as providing children with more opportunities to develop their personal and social skills.

Programs and Resources: Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities well, working with other professionals and parents to support their individual needs.

Staff Training: Staff attend specialist training that helps them to promote children's individual health needs.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Staff help children to feel emotionally secure when they first start by offering taster sessions that help children become familiar with the environment and staff.

Safeguarding Training: The manager and staff have a good understanding of the signs of possible abuse and procedures to follow if concerned about a child in their care.

Play and Learning Integration: Children are keen to explore, investigate, and are motivated to learn. They use magnifying glasses and binoculars to look closely at shapes in the environment.

Transition to Primary School: Children become familiar with the school environment as staff take them to attend special events at the host school.

Child Safety Management: Staff carry out safety checks indoors and outdoors and provide children with fluorescent jackets during walks to ensure their safety.

Teaching Personal Safety: Staff educate children on road safety during walks, promoting their understanding of how to keep themselves safe.

Happiness and Settling: Staff help children feel emotionally secure and offer taster sessions to facilitate their adjustment.

Nutritional Menu: Staff offer children a healthy range of snacks and meals, teaching them about nutritious foods and the importance of healthy eating.
