From the Lancaster Lane Early Learners
A pre-school facility called Early Learners was established at Lancaster Lane CP School in Leyland in 1994. It is completely registered with Ofsted (see report below). We are conveniently situated about two minutes from the M6's Junction 28 and five to ten minutes from the M65. Children may enrol in Early Learners Preschool as early as their second birthday, and it is staffed by 4 people for 38 weeks out of the year. The entire staff is certified in level 3 paediatric first aid. Stoppers runs from 3.30 to 5.45 p.m. in the school hall. Preschool-age children are welcome to attend.
