Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Children develop an awareness of their own safety, self-help skills, and manage feelings and emotions well.

Communication: There is an excellent level of communication between staff and parents via online systems and daily conversations.

Programs and Resources: Staff expertly support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities using gestures, objects and visual cues.

Staff Training: Staff work in partnership with parents and a range of outside agencies to ensure they have the most effective strategies.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Children and parents are welcomed warmly by staff, helping children experience a secure handover into the preschool.

Safeguarding Training: All staff have up to date safeguarding training and engage in regular discussions, quizzes and 'on the spot' questions to keep their knowledge up to date.

Play and Learning Integration: Staff develop children's imaginations and happily join their play, encouraging reflection and introducing new vocabulary.

Transition to Primary School: Children move confidently through activities and know what is expected of them.

Child Safety Management: The staff know the four categories of abuse and what signs to look out for. This helps them to recognise changes in behavior and alerts them to any safeguarding concerns.

Children's Safety and Security: Children feel safe and secure, being confident and exceptionally happy in the pre-school.

Teaching Personal Safety: Children carry out risk assessments with staff and remind their friends how to use the slide safely.

Happiness and Settling: Children are confident and exceptionally happy in this pre-school.
