From the Kookaburra Playgroup
In August 2008, Kookaburra Playgroup was founded. We are located in a purpose-built structure behind the scout hut at the top of Hills Farm Lane by the playing field. We are ofsted registered for kids ages 2 to 5 and have 8 fully qualified staff members. Kookaburra Playgroup has a disabled restroom, a baby changing station, and an indoor sandroom to accommodate kids of all abilities. Outside, the kids have access to a sizable, secure garden with a climbing frame and slide, a sizable outdoor sandbox, a playhouse, and a variety of toys throughout the year. Children from their second birthday to age 5 are welcome, and we are only open during the academic year. The Early Years Foundation Stage establishes benchmarks for the education, growth, and care of kids from birth to age five. At Kookaburra Playgroup, we are extremely proud of our expertise in developing opportunities and experiences that relate to the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Seven areas of learning and development are covered by the Early Years Foundation Stage. We frequently offer various opportunities and activities that relate to some or all of these 7 developmental areas. Please use our contact form or give us a call at 01403 269548.
