Communication: Staff ensure that parents are kept well informed of all aspects of the club.

Community Building: Parents comment that they are very happy with the activities that are on offer. They say that staff are very friendly and approachable.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: They work closely with parents to help ensure children's individual care needs are known and met. Children settle quickly and form trusting relationships with all staff.

Safeguarding Training: All staff have attended child protection training, including issues in line with the 'Prevent' duty guidance. They have a good understanding of their responsibilities to report any concerns concerning the safety and welfare of children.

Play and Learning Integration: Throughout the club, children are engaged, busy and make good use of the environment, indoors and outside.

Transition to Primary School: Children transfer skills that they learn at school. For example, staff help children to dress for the school disco.

Child Safety Management: Staff lock all external doors and only authorised people access the club. Children receive care in a safe and secure environment.

Happiness and Settling: Children enjoy attending the club because they can play with their friends and make sandwiches.

Nutritional Menu: Staff provide healthy and nutritious snacks, such as sandwiches and a good selection of fruit is freely available.
