The club is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday (Term-time only). The club is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. during school breaks, except for the final two weeks of the summer break, bank holidays, and the week between Christmas and New Year. The children are given a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment by a group of skilled and experienced personnel (having N.N.E.B. or comparable qualifications & Playwork), which encourages them to reach their full potential. Regular staff training ensures that employees are properly informed about current issues. Two very large, fully furnished, carpeted rooms at the club provide a secure, tranquil playing area. Children have free access to a variety of enjoyable and instructional activities that promote growth. We have a peaceful place where you may read books, listen to stories, or watch TV comfortably. There is a sizable, well-furnished, safe outdoor play space with parts pavement and other portions grassed that provides possibilities for the development of social and physical abilities that are fairly balanced. In consideration of safety, the equipment is meticulously maintained, and new equipment is frequently bought. A wholesome, well-balanced food is provided, and every attempt will be made to accommodate any unique dietary requirements through consultation with our experts. For kids who want to participate in after-school events, we provide a pick-up service and bring them back to Kirkdale, ensuring that kids may have fun and feel included at all times. Kirkdale Out of School Club works hard to deliver a superior, compassionate service.
