We still urge parents to be completely involved with the setting and the growth of their children at Kintbury Pre-school, which was founded in 1976 by a group of local parents who wished to be more involved with their children's development.
We are located in the Preston Hall in the centre of the village, just a short distance from the Primary School, with which we have extremely strong ties.
Preschoolers who are about to enter a school regularly visit the reception class, especially during the summer term, to become comfortable with the setting and spend time with the teacher.
A national initiative called Every Child a Talker (ECAT) aims to help children from birth to age five develop their language and communication skills.
ECAT tactics and materials are made to assist you in setting up a welcoming and engaging environment in your setting where kids can enjoy experimenting with and acquiring language.
Through engaging daily activities that cater to kids' interests and help them develop into skilled communicators, ECAT will promote the development of early language.
