Kingfisher is a place where everyone is appreciated and encouraged to achieve independence via a worthwhile, enriching curriculum. Kingfisher is a fantastic institution that greets you warmly as soon as you enter. It offers a stimulating and thoughtfully created learning environment for a wide range of learners with special needs. Our committed crew is our most valuable asset. All staff members collaborate professionally here at the school to provide the very best education for our students. The school serves children with severe, complicated, or profound needs, including autism, who are between the ages of 2 and 19. Our school is set up into pathways that are tailored to the needs of the students, providing them with learning opportunities that build on their unique strengths and acknowledge their accomplishments. The collaboration with the health and social care experts that support us at Kingfisher is outstanding. All of our students' unique learning needs are supported by the curriculum we have created. Our curriculum's main goal is to help students become independent whenever possible. Parents are welcome, and their involvement in school activities is appreciated. The school is a member of the Propeller Academy Trust and has many friends in Abingdon and elsewhere. Being the headteacher of this outstanding school makes me very happy.
