We are a 50-space nursery that provides care for kids from birth to elementary school age. We are situated in two large Victorian town houses which have been carefully and thoughtfully converted into one spacious building in Carlisle and we are only a 10 minute walk from the city centre. The nursery day begins at eight in the morning. and is completed around 5.30 p.m. closed for two weeks at Christmas, New Year's, and bank holidays for fifty weeks of the year. We are actively involved members of the National Day Nurseries Association, and we are registered with Ofsted (Registration Number EY485777). We were thrilled to get our third consecutive Outstanding inspection in August 2016. (NDNA). We are registered to accept Nursery Education Grants, the term after your childs third birthday and also funded two year old places (follow this link to find out if your child is eligible for free childcare for 2 year olds). The Early Years Foundation Stage (E.Y.F.S. ), a statutory framework for learning, development, and care for children from birth to five, aims to support young children in achieving the Every Child Matters outcomes of Staying Safe, Be Healthy, Enjoying and Achieving, Making a Positive Contribution, and Achieving Economic Well-Being.
