Over 11,500 children are cared for and educated by Kids Planet, which was founded in 2008 by a dedicated mother named Clare Roberts. Kids Planet currently operates 115 great nurseries throughout the UK.
We were happy for Beamont Nursery practitioner Jenny James when she received Newcomer of the Year at the Nursery Awards.
We were ecstatic to be included in a list of the 50 fastest-growing businesses in Manchester, and we were also nominated for several accolades, including Warrington's Business of the Year.
Excitingly, we made our first step into the UK's south after purchasing five University of Oxford nurseries that Bright Horizons had previously run.
A proud occasion for the business, we reached the wonderful milestone of having more than 100 nurseries in February after acquiring the family-run Twinkles Nurseries group, which included six nurseries in North and West Yorkshire.
In March, not only was it was announced that Kids Planet Day Nurseries is a finalist for the Peoples Choice category of the North West Family Business Awards 2022, we also were proud to acquire four new settings over two nurseries: Horn End Group of three in Stafford, and The Owls in Bolton.
