Activities: Staff use children's interests well to engage them in activities and to help them learn.

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Children learn about the life cycle of trees and butterflies and enjoy caring for the herbs and plants in the garden.

Communication: They have close relationships with parents and use individual and personalized strategies to engage each parent.

Programs and Resources: Staff work closely with parents to find out about their children's development needs from the outset and work closely with each parent to help narrow any gaps in children's learning.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Staff know the local community, families, and children well and place a high priority on getting to know each child as an individual.

Safeguarding Training: Staff have a good understanding of child protection and wider safeguarding issues and know the procedure to follow if they have a concern about a child.

Play and Learning Integration: Staff provide good opportunities for children to be outdoors and increase their physical skills.

Transition to Primary School: The vast majority of children move on to a school nursery at the age of three years. All children make good progress from their starting points and are well prepared for their next stage of learning.

Child Safety Management: Staff check the environment daily to ensure it is safe and suitable in preparation for children.

Children's Safety and Security: Staff help children take controlled risks as they play and help them learn how to keep safe.

Happiness and Settling: Staff have close relationships with children and children are happy and confident.

Nutritional Menu: Staff help children learn about eating a healthy diet, such as limiting sugary foods and eating more fruits and vegetables.
