Building on each child's unique interests, we hope to create environments that are lively, enjoyable, and engaging for play and learning.
Because of our shared enthusiasm for the Early Years and the things we wanted for our children—to feel safe and secure, achieve whatever they set out to do, and grow up to be strong, ambitious people—we clicked right away when we first met as primary school teachers.
There is a tremendous sense of community at Jack in the Box, where people genuinely care.
Our nurseries are focused on the children's wellness, making sure that all of their requirements are satisfied and that our families are properly taken care of.
Children learn best when they are in good physical and mental health, feel safe and secure, have their unique needs fulfilled, and have great connections with the adults who are responsible for looking after them.
After earning a theatre degree, Zoe got a PGCE in Early Years.
Zoe and Jenny started working at Jack in the Box ten years ago, and they haven't looked back since.
Zoe has had training in phonics, special education needs, and is the setting's designated safeguarding person.
In 2010, Jenny founded Jack in the Box after beginning her early years' adventure right out of college.
She began her career working in a daycare before transferring to a primary school where she took on the roles of nursery teacher and leader of several departments.
Jenny has been trained by Young in Herts and has been collaborating closely with them to further her understanding of the Early Years.
In her school settings and at Jack in the Box, Jenny has guided all of her settings to Outstanding OFSTED inspections and repeatedly achieved Herts Quality Standard.
Her profession reflects her love and passion for the early years.
